Refund Policy

Cancellation and refund rules for monthly, annual, and enterprise subscriptions.

JWAVES Refund Policy

Effective Date: March 24, 2026

This Refund Policy is incorporated into the JWAVES Terms of Service.

1. Business-to-business service

JWaves is offered for professional use. This policy is intended for B2B customers.

2. How cancellation works

You may cancel at any time through your account settings or the billing portal when available.

Cancellation stops automatic renewal. Unless you request early termination under the annual-plan rules below, you retain access until the end of the current paid term.

3. Monthly plans

Monthly subscription fees are non-refundable once the month has started.

No refunds or credits are issued for:

  • partial months,
  • unused time,
  • unused seats, or
  • failure to use the Services during an active paid month.

If you cancel a monthly plan, access remains available until the end of the current paid month.

4. Annual plans

If you purchased an annual prepaid plan, you may request early termination and a partial refund.

If you simply cancel renewal without requesting early termination, access remains available until the annual term ends and no refund is issued.

4.1 Early termination request

To request early termination and a partial refund, contact billing@jwaves.io from the account owner or billing administrator email address.

4.2 Refund rules

Unless required by law or stated otherwise in a signed enterprise order:

  1. the current month in which JWaves receives the request is not refundable,
  2. used months are recalculated at the monthly list price that applied to the purchased plan and seat count, and
  3. JWaves refunds only the remaining prepaid amount, if any.

4.3 Used month definition

A used month is any monthly period that has started during the annual term, including the current month. Partial months count as a full used month.

4.4 Refund formula

Let:

  • A be the total annual fees paid, excluding refundable taxes where applicable,
  • M be the monthly list price in effect for the purchased plan at the time of purchase, and
  • U be the number of used months, including the current month.

Then:

  • Used charge = U × M
  • Refund = max(0, A − Used charge)

If the result is zero, no refund is due.

4.5 Seat changes during the year

If seats were added mid-term, JWaves calculates the refund per relevant line item or invoice using the monthly list price that applied to that purchase and then sums the result.

4.6 End of access for early termination

If you request early termination, access continues until the end of the current month, after which the subscription ends.

5. No refunds in the following cases

No refunds or credits are provided for:

  • suspension or termination for breach of the Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy,
  • chargebacks or payment disputes,
  • professional services unless a signed order states otherwise, or
  • non-refundable payment processor fees or taxes already remitted where applicable.

6. Enterprise plans

Enterprise plans are governed by the signed order, including custom billing, cancellation, and refund terms.

7. Refund processing time

Approved refunds are typically issued to the original payment method within 10 business days, subject to banking and payment-network processing times.
