JWAVES Acceptable Use Policy
Effective Date: March 24, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the Services and is incorporated into the JWAVES Terms of Service.
1. Who this applies to
This AUP applies to you and your authorized users when accessing or using JWaves services, including the SaaS platform, any APIs, reports, and the local client.
2. General rule
Use the Services responsibly, lawfully, and in a way that does not harm JWaves, other customers, or third parties.
3. Prohibited activities
You must not, and must not permit others to:
3.1 Security, abuse, and disruption
- access or attempt to access systems, accounts, data, or networks without authorization,
- probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities without authorization,
- bypass authentication or security controls,
- upload malware, distribute malicious code, or run exploits,
- interfere with service integrity or performance, including denial-of-service or abusive automated traffic.
3.2 License misuse
- share credentials across multiple users beyond the rights granted by your subscription,
- rotate a single paid seat among multiple people if that is not allowed by your plan,
- bypass usage limits, seat limits, or other technical or commercial restrictions.
3.3 Reverse engineering and unauthorized resale
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code, models, or underlying logic from the Services except where mandatory law permits,
- copy, reproduce, sell, resell, lease, sublicense, or provide the Services to third parties as a hosted service unless expressly authorized by a signed enterprise agreement.
3.4 Unlawful or unauthorized data collection
- collect RF or network measurements on premises you do not own or control without the site owner's authorization,
- use the Services in violation of privacy, surveillance, cybercrime, telecom, export-control, or other applicable laws,
- infringe the intellectual-property, confidentiality, privacy, or contractual rights of third parties.
3.5 Safety-critical use
- rely on the Services for life-safety or other safety-critical use cases unless a signed enterprise agreement expressly allows it and defines the required controls.
4. Content and data rules
You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights and permissions needed to upload floor plans, building data, annotations, and survey data.
Do not upload unnecessary sensitive personal data. If personal data is included, you must have a lawful basis and comply with applicable law.
5. Enforcement
JWaves may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access, remove content, restrict functionality, or take other reasonable steps needed to protect the Services and other users.
6. Reporting
Security issues or suspected abuse may be reported to security@jwaves.io.
